Chapter Three

THE ANGARA LAND
Capital City
King Ojas took a diversion from history. Angara land never talked to its foe before. King Ojas was smart enough to know it was not wise to get into battle with Raider Islands. He invited warchief of raiders the thieves to the capital to offer terms surprisingly Warchief Kiha accepted the offer.

King Ojas was thinking he will take control over Raider Islands without a battle. But when Warchief Kiha arrived he understood that Raiders have started considering those islands as a separate nations and Kiha was completely clueless about nature of this visit. Never before did Ojas cursed the second great war which lasted 30 years and made his father leave Raider Islands to its fate. But the talk must go on. Ojas was thinking as he was moving towards the conference chamber in his keep. What will he say. Raider islands had nothing to sell that Ojas intended to buy. If news of his blunder reached common man he would look like a fool. Suddenly he found himself in a situation no one wants to be in.

Ojas reached the conference room and greeted Kiha. "What do you want from us Great King" Kiha asked. "We want you join the great Angara banner once again" Ojas replied, without being sure that he is doing the right thing by spilling the beans in the beginning. "We were left to rot and die Fifty years back, Amount of our blood that spilled in battle is the reason why we are still alive if you want our lands come see us in the battle ground spill as much of your blood and take the land." Kiha replied in anger. Ojas was taken aback with this reply he expected hostility but not a clear invitation to battle. Not knowing what to say Ojas replied "If you wanted a war then why did you come here to talk?" Kiha said "I never knew you wanted our lands. In fact even if i knew i would have come here just to let you know that make no mistakes about it we are a separate nation now and we will be till i am alive." Then there was a silence for few seconds but it seemed like an eternity for the Young King. Then the Warchief left for Raider Islands. and left Ojas wondering how to defeat Raider Islands. People who stood against lord of forsaken Land all by themselves cannot be considered as weak foes.

Ojas then headed towards his bedroom thinking deeply about the conversation with warchief that he just had. There was another aspect of war which Ojas was considering, he was fighting to unite his lands to move against Gondwana Lands. If he goes to war against Raiders then every falling soldier on either side will weaken his army. He just wanted the warriors not the
land. What should be done, There must be a better way out. With these thoughts king retired to bed.
